For 10 days, our test family put GoBoi water sports outfits to the ultimate test under the relentless Mediterranean sun in July 2024. The conditions were challenging, with scorching heat, sandy and rocky beaches, salty seawater, and chlorinated pool water. The outfits faced daily fluctuations in these harsh environments and continuous use.
Remarkably, the GoBoi water sports outfits not only held up but exceeded our expectations. Their quality, fit, and delightfully comfortable materials impressed the entire test group. These outfits proved their worth, showcasing durability and comfort even under the most demanding conditions.
"We expected high-quality products, but the quality of these outfits still managed to surprise us. The material of the rash guard shirts and women's swimsuit is astonishingly firm and smooth, yet soft and stretchy.
The swimsuit doesn't become see-through when wet, thanks to its double-layered front. The bold color and design evoked delightful comparisons to the iconic Baywatch series, which was fun and gave us a good laugh. Love it!
While the rash guard shirts are made of a single layer of material, the white shirt was only slightly translucent when wet, which didn't bother us at all for the men's shirt. The women's shirt, in light blue, remained perfectly opaque.
Since the rash guards are made of single-layer fabric, female users might consider their preferences when deciding whether to wear the shirt on its own or with a bikini top underneath. Our female tester wore the shirt on its own and was satisfied.
A particularly wonderful feature of both the rash guards and the swimsuit was that they felt cooler when wet compared to regular swimwear fabric, significantly enhancing comfort in the 40°C heat.
The swim shorts received high praise from our male tester for their quality and comfort. The length, the smooth feel of the inner lining, and the well-placed side pockets were all appreciated. Additionally, a fun detail worth mentioning is that the design of the swim shorts, with text on the back, caught attention and elicited knowing smiles and a few thumbs-ups from fellow travelers from other ice hockey-loving countries."
